Portfolio stuff

Hey gang. Here are some pen and gouache drawings I had in my CalArts portfolio. For those of you that don't know I did get accepted and will be starting in the fall. I can't wait for my new journey ahead of me.

Rockin', which one's your fav?

Let me tell you, being some random person, that I freaking love your cartoons. I'd actually be interested in seeing some of your more traditional figure drawing stuff, just because that's gotta be so different.

Or let me rephrase, not because it would be a disparaging stylistic break, but because it was clearly CalArts portfolio worthy, and that's an area of interest to me. You have some amazing, much more fully rendered drawings among this blog already, I'm just specifically curious about what you put in your portfolio.

Brian- Thank oakes, I thinks i likes the soup drinking dude. Its hard to like your own drawings cause I always think I need to get better you know.

Lev- Thanks a lot. I would love to post some Life drawings of mine in the future. Really pushing my life drawings to another level really helped my portfolio a lot I think. I really appreciate your comment. Thanks again.

Congrats on getting accepted! I have a feeling you'll do well. Will your focus be character animation?

Thanks a lot Drake. I'm really excited to work on a student film. And yes I will be studying character animation.

Congratulations!
You know, you could do some excellent cards with some of these.
