Hey gang. Here are some pen and gouache drawings I had in my CalArts portfolio. For those of you that don't know I did get accepted and will be starting in the fall. I can't wait for my new journey ahead of me.
I love drawing monsters. In fact, I think I love drawing them just as much I love sketchin people. I think its because with monsters, you can really push shapes and craziness. As with people, emotions and verbs are what i try to catch.

Well another sketchbook done. Here are just a few drawings from it.
Hi y'all, just wanted everyone to know that I am still alive and drawing. Me and a couple of my friends (beau hufford and Brian Morante) got together and thought it would be a great idea to make a blog where we give each other cool little drawing assignments and post them on a blog. Our first post is UP! The blog is named after my favorite theme song. Those who know me best know exactly what i'm talking about. Well our link is on the side of my blog, so enjoy.
This little painting was inspired by the hunger monster inside of me for Thanksgiving. My record is six plates of food. Perhaps I will rise up to the challenge and beat it this year.
This is a print that was being sold at the ape-con in San Francisco. It is a limited addition painting I did for a book to which I'm contributing to with some friends called Eat, Drink, and Sleep. I am very excited to be part of it. You can check out our website on the link above.
What an adventure! Thailand was amazing. Trekking through the jungle, riding on elephants, sketching on a beautiful beach, it was all quite miraculous. I will never forget this amazing trip. Growing as an artist while traveling has been the best experience of my life. Now I will vow to post much much more.
here are a couple of sketches I drew when I was in Europe back in february. I will never forget that beautiful free time I had on my hands to draw and draw and draw. my favorite thing was to go to a local cafe and sketch the wonderfully dressed locals.
